Zarghuna despises Mastan Singh (Omair Rana), who killed her husband Asadullah Khan. When Hikmat’s love for Gul Meena is rejected by Zarghuna, he resorts to “Ghag,” a tradition where he announces that Gul Meena can only be his bride. However, it is revealed that Hilmand performed the Ghag instead. Mastan, aiming to kill Hilmand, stops due to his father’s deathbed confession, which implicated Marjaan in Nasrullah’s murder.
As Sheherzaad (Kubra Khan), a reporter researching the Ghag tradition, arrives in Laspiraan, she bonds with Marjaan and encounters Hilmand.
